8 weeks. Real projects. Real professionals.
Students learn alongside their CTE instructors from developers and construction professionals who have contributed to over $2 billion in projects. Three active Detroit-area developments are used as case studies every week. Students finish the program by presenting a complete development plan to an industry panel.
The pilot launched in partnership with Detroit Public Schools Community District at Randolph Career & Technical Center — and the program is built to scale to any district with a CTE pathway.
CTE-Aligned and Credential-Connected
The program is aligned to Architecture & Construction, Finance, and Marketing career clusters. Students are assessed weekly, evaluated by an industry panel using a structured rubric, and connected to four Michigan-specific credential pathways: Licensed Residential Builder, Real Estate Salesperson, College Construction Management, and College Real Estate Development — each with step-by-step licensing roadmaps.
The curriculum includes a proprietary student textbook, branded instructional materials, and a complete assessment package designed to complement district CTE instruction.
